
It’s almost a new month and that means that it’s time to celebrate, reflect, and evaluate.
Get out your pen and paper and the answer following (only if you want to make progress on your fully booked goal while maintaining your priorities )
Start with celebrations and answer the questions:
What can I celebrate?
What priorities did I make time for this month?
Coaches want to skip this step but please don’t.
Celebrating makes you feel good and it makes you want to continue doing what you’ve been doing.
It also allows you to realize how much you actually get done or accomplish.
Coaches are always so shocked by how much they completed over 1 month after they review it.
After you celebrate everything you’ve accomplished, you now reflect on:
What didn’t go the way I planned?
What priorities did I not make time for?
This should all be done from a place of curiosity and NOT judgment.
You are like a scientist looking back over the past month simply being super curious as to why things went the way they did, to learn from it NOT to be mean to ourselves.
Finally, after reflecting on what didn’t work this month we plan for some tweaks by answering the following:
What do I want to try this next month?
What do I want to do more of/less of?
This process + following through on your answers and plans from these questions (this is where having a coach REALLY helps) will set you up to guarantee progress on your goals and make sure you are aligned with your priorities.
